Magic Pot offers several game scenarios that enable communities to engage their token holders in exciting and financially meaningful activities. Below are three scenarios: Pot, Clash, and Firebox.

Pot

Pot is a format where players “invest” a small amount of a specific token into a shared pool, competing for the grand prize. All tokens contributed by players are added to the prize pool and distributed among the winners at the end.

How the game works

  1. Pool creation. The organizer fills out a form in the Magic Pot mini-app, selecting the token, setting the rules (timer, stake size, etc.), and “hiding the treasure” — the initial prize.
  2. Game announcement. The organizer informs the community about the created pool and shares a link to participate.
  3. Transaction submission. Players send tokens to the smart contract, increasing the total prize and improving their own chances of winning.
  4. Timer. A countdown begins from the first transaction. Each new contribution resets the timer to its maximum value. The game ends when the timer runs out.
  5. Winner selection. After the timer stops, the smart contract determines the prize winners. Players can then claim their share.

Clash

Clash is a “battle” format between two (or more) communities. Each group competes to “reach the treasure” first by contributing their tokens. Once one team accumulates the required number of "points" (transactions), the game ends, and the winner takes the prize pool — including the opponents’ tokens.

How the game works

  1. Joint pool creation. One organizer fills out the form, specifying the rules, the cost per attempt, and the main victory condition. Other organizers confirm their participation by sending their tokens to the prize pool.
  2. Battle start. Participants begin submitting transactions to the smart contract, accumulating "points" for their team while simultaneously increasing the prize pool.
  3. Increasing attempt costs. To balance gameplay, each subsequent attempt by the same player costs slightly more than the previous one.
